Right-Clicking an Assembly Group Node

There may be one or more assembly nodes beneath a project node in the tree view. An assembly group node will only be present for a given project if at least one assembly belonging to that group has already been added to the project. The assembly group nodes that might be present include:

By right clicking on a group node, the user will be able to perform actions on that group of assemblies.

The actions that the user may perform from the pop-up menu are as follows:

Add Assembly
Selecting this option opens the "Group" specific "Add Assembly" sub-menu so that the user can add an assembly of the selected "Group" type to the project. This is the same as selecting "Add Assembly" from the "Edit" menu.

Note: If the assembly group is "Extra Basic Materials" the user will not select the specific assembly that they wish to add, but will select whether they want to add wood, steel, concrete, and/or other materials.

Open All Assembly Forms
Selecting this option will open all "Assembly" dialogs for assemblies that belong to the selected "Group". This is the same as selecting "Open Assemby Forms " from the "Edit" menu. This option is only available when one or more assemblies belong to the "Group".

Close All Assembly Forms
Selecting this option will close all "Assembly" dialogs for assemblies that belong to the selected "Group". This is the same as selecting "Close Assembly Forms " from the "Edit" menu. This option is only available when one or more assemblies belong to the "Group". If the "Group" owns any open assembly dialogs for which there are unsaved changes, the user will be asked to save the changes before closing the dialog.

Delete
Selecting this option will delete all "Assemblies" that belong to the selected "Group" from the project and will also delete the "Group" node from the "Tree". This is the same as selecting "Delete" from the "Edit" menu. This option is only available when one or more assemblies belong to the "Group". A confirmation dialog will open to confirm your intention to delete the entire "Group" and all of the assemblies contained in that group.
