Energy Consumption – Life Cycle Inventory Results Table by Assembly Group

Note:

Starting in version 4.2, the Electricity row in the above table has been removed in order to avoid confusion. In the past, it was just there as "extra" information, but many users thought that it was in addtion to the other energy sources (those in MJ) presented. But the different components of the electircal energy in kWh were in fact included in the other energy sources, so to avoid confusion or double counting, it has been removed.

Also starting in version 4.2, the energy consumption table is summed at the bottom in a row called Total Primary Energy Consumption.

 

 

This table separates and displays the primary energy consumption (by fuel type) for structural assembly groups. The table provides row (by fuel type) and column (by assembly group) totals over the building’s expected life.

Assembly Group Definitions:

Extra Material

Include all structural and envelope materials defined via the "Extra Basic Material" assembly for the project building.

Floors:

Include all structural materials defined as a floor assembly for the project building.

Roofs:

Include all structural materials defined as roof assembly for the project building.

Columns & Beams:

Include all structural materials defined as a column and beam assembly for the project building.

Walls:

Include all structural materials defined as a wall assembly for the project building.

Foundations:

Include all structural materials defined as a foundation assembly for the project building.

 

All Table and Graph reports use a "Report Viewer", that has a common toolbar. Each member of the common toolbar is detailed in the "Report Toolbar" page.
